CNSNews.com is reporting that SEIU is openly and directly organizing a series of #Occupy actions to take place in DC starting this Monday December 5th. (h/t @mperkins37)

The SEIU Local 1991, based out of Miami Gardens, Fla., is the contact organization for the weeklong event “to show Congress what democracy looks like, shine a light on corporate greed and human suffering it has caused, and demand justice for the 99 percent,” according to the draft itinerary.

“Take Back the Capitol will feature three full days of spirited actions, speak-outs, protests and entertainment,” the schedule says. Breakfast and dinner are listed every day of the protest.

“People’s Camp, Teach-Ins, Cultural Tent, Model Sharing” are on the agenda for Tuesday. Also that day, protesters are called on to “‘Occupy’ Congressional offices until closure” and to “Depart in TEAMS to VISIT Congress and seek commitments to unemployment insurance extension and jobs not cuts for the 99%.”

They claim they are the 99%, but in truth, all they were meant to do was create the dramatic backdrop upon which the media could carry the Progressive narrative that the top 1% of evil-greedy-capitalists are to blame for all the ills of society.

Gizmodo is reporting that the Red Cross & Red Crescent is pursuing an international law against the depiction of war crimes in video games:

The International Committee of the Red Cross is mandated under the Geneva Conventions to protect the victims of international and internal armed conflicts. That includes war wounded, prisoners, refugees, civilians, and other non-combatants. The question they debated this week is whether their mandate should be extended to the virtual victims of video game wars.

During this week’s 31st International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Geneva, Switzerland, members of the committee held a side event to discuss the influence video games have on public perception and action.

My god this betrays the fantasy world they occupy. How about squaring away international law against REAL Jihad, and other REAL atrocities that ARE really occurring, for real. Then move on to the World government policing of the depiction of vulgar fantasies and other thought crimes.

Here’s a place to start, why does the Red Crescent allow their vehicles to be utilized by Jihadis during ritual intifadas?

On May 17, 2002, an explosive belt was found in a Red Crescent ambulance at a checkpoint near Ramallah. The bomb, the same type generally used in suicide bombings, was hidden under a gurney on which a sick child was lying. The driver, Islam Jibril, was already wanted by the IDF, and admitted that this was not the first time that an ambulance had been used to transport explosives or terrorists. According to Jibril, he was given the bomb by Mahmoud Titi, a member of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, which the U.S. State Department has listed as a terrorist organization, and which is affiliated with Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement.

The bomb was removed from the ambulance and detonated in the presence of a representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross. In a statement issued the same day, the ICRC said that it “understands the security concerns of the Israeli authorities, and has always acknowledged their right to check ambulances, provided it does not unduly delay medical evacuations.” The sick passengers in the ambulance were escorted by soldiers to a nearby hospital.

In January, 2002, Wafa Idris blew herself up on the crowded Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, becoming one of the first female suicide bombers. She was an ambulance driver for the Palestinian Red Crescent, as was Mohammed Hababa, the Tanzim operative who sent her on her mission. She left the West Bank by way of an ambulance.

In October, 2001, Nidal Nazal, a Hamas operative in Kalkilya, was arrested by the IDF. He was an ambulance driver for the Palestinian Red Crescent, and information indicates that he exploited the unrestricted travel to serve as a messenger between the Hamas headquarters in several West Bank towns.

…There’s no explanation. It was coded by a UK firm for probably 300 times the money it should have. Government waste and incompetence, at best. Something crooked at worst.

The “tips” include “Drink Fluids,” which is ironic since the UK, where the app was developed, just outlawed the claim that water can rehydrate you.

 

The Elder of Ziyon reports: Israeli dancing group dropped from festival after refusing to change their name

When the participants’ names were released, Esther Blumenthal-Skop of Machol was surprised to learn that the name of the Machol Israeli Dancing Club had been truncated to Machol Group and all references to Israel had been removed with the club being described as a Jewish dance group.

No change had been made to other groups including Chinese, Hungarian, Armenaian and Ukrarnian Traditional Folk Dances and the Irish Reel and Jigs.

In her submission to VEOHRC, Blumenthal-Skop said she asked for an explanation and was told that the organiser would not be held responsible for consequences if the words “Israel” or “Israeli” were used to describe the group.

Interesting how Muslim-jihad-terrorism allows people the space to discriminate against Israelis.

U.S. Representative Gus Bilirakis [Florida’s 9th District] has introduced H.R. 3131 which would instruct the Secretary of State determine if Hamas Flotilla organizers should be designated as terrorist organizations:

H.R. 3131: To direct the Secretary of State to submit a report on whether any support organization that participated in the planning or execution of the recent Gaza flotilla attempt should be designated as a foreign terrorist organization and any actions taken by the Department of State to express gratitude to the government of Greece for preventing the Gaza flotilla from setting sail in contravention of Israel’s legal blockade of Gaza, and for other purposes.

Does this mean CodePink and the Progressive Democrats of America could be officially designated as terrorist organizations? I’d settle for convicting them for aiding designated terror groups.

After all, they openly and proudly organized the American wing of the Hamas Flotilla.

 

Will Progressive Jews in Congress like Jan Schakowsky and Debbie Wasserman Schultz co-sponsor and support this legislation? Or will they let the Jews of Israel swing just to protect their Progressive friends? Now is the time for them to be called to account. Two days ago, Education Action Group excerpted roughly 4 minutes of video from a 35 minute speech delivered by Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) boss, Karen Lewis.

The four minutes is composed of three excerpts. In the excerpts, Lewis bullies Education Secretary Arne Duncan for his speech impediment (a lisp), jokes about smoking lots of pot, and talks about losing weight so she can fit her over-sized posterior on a prison toilet because she plans on getting arrested.

Now the CTU is claiming the video is taken out of context, and that Karen Lewis is a victim of a right-wing hate machine. From the CTU Website:

“As you know, neo-conservative, anti-labor and anti-public education bloggers — with a history of distorting and misrepresenting the truth — seized the opportunity to create a pseudo- firestorm around my comments in order to distract from our work at the Chicago Teachers Union. One such blogger created a viral video, edited for dramatic effect, and then distributed his skewed video to the media and others in the blogosphere in an attempt to smear my character.

Anyone with a public school education can see by looking at the tape that she was quoted in her full context. In fact, EAG excerpted more than 4 minutes of her bile. When ABC7 Chicago aired their story on her comments, they excerpted less than 30 seconds. That means, according to the CTU, ABC7 Chicago is roughly 800% more guilty of taking her out of context.

In the article Glenn links to, Democrat Raul Grijalva is quoted as saying there should be support for a permanent camp #Occupy.

“I wish there would have been something done to accommodate the ability for them to stay there for the duration.”

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. Democrat Rep Raul Grijalva sits on the advisory board to the Progressive Democrats of America with #Occupy organizers Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin.

From the same article, Democrat Charlie Rangel also added his support for #ows:

“I’m afraid that what the mayor says is temporary may tend to be permanent as they put up more restrictions,” said Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.). “I’m very cautious [because] I’m very supportive of [the protesters], and if the city doesn’t keep its word [I’ll] have a lot more [to say].”

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. Democrat Rep Charlie Rangel sits on the advisory board to the Progressive Democrats of America with #Occupy organizers Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin.

Dem Rep Barbara Lee also loves #occupiers. She’s mentioned in the story as well:

Democratic Rep. Barbara Lee (Calif.), for example, criticized police in Oakland for using excessive force against demonstrators there.

Connect the dots people. The Congressional Progressive Caucus has its fingerprints all over the #occupy movement.

I can’t decide what’s more disgusting, Karen Lewis setting the example that it’s perfectly acceptable to mock a man for having a speech impediment, or the members of the UNION audience who sit there laughing (1:35 in the video below).

What a pathetic example these union fanatics set.

Recently, I was asked to prepare 3 excerpts of comments made by Chicago Teachers Union Thug-In-Chief Karen Lewis. I did exactly as asked, and excerpted the three soundbites in full. They are in complete context. There is no content on either side of any of the excerpts that would change the accuracy of the portions excerpted.

But a funny thing happened on the way Lewis’s defense of her indefensible language. The thugs in the Chicago Teachers Union lied about the tape, claiming it was “edited” in a dishonest attempt to discredit the excerpts. From the Sun Times:

The statement [via CTU] said the comments were being presented “out of context” in order to “shift the focus from bad public policy decisions in education to attacks on (Lewis’) character.”

I challenge any of the so called teachers to educate me as to how Lewis was taken out of context.

If they can’t cite even one specific example of how the quotes were taken out of context, they should apologize for their defamatory assertions!

There has been plenty of criticism of Lewis for setting a revolting example for the children under her charge. What example does it set for the union to lie about the nature of the excerpts in a transparent attempt to kill the messenger and skirt responsibility for their reckless behavior?

From arrests, to bullying, to lying, these teachers have established a pattern of setting a terrible example for everyone, child and adult alike.

 

One of the top level organizations supporting Occupy Wall Street is the Progressive Democrats of America (@pdamerica).

Breifly, some of the Progressive Democrats of America board members include John Conyers, Donna Edwards, Raul Grijalva, Barbara Lee, Jim McGovern, Lynn Woolsey, Dennis Kucinich – not to mention CODEPINK’s Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans. (You might remember them from the Hamas Flotillas).

In a recent posting on their website, Throwing Out the Master’s Tools and Building a Better House, they appear to be arguing against the violence of the Black Bloc.

Another Occupy Oakland witness, a female street medic, wrote of the ill-conceived November 2 late-night antics, “watching black bloc-ers run from the cops and not protect the camp their actions had endangered, an action which ultimately left behind many mentally ill people, sick people, street kids, and homeless folks to defend themselves against the police onslaught was disturbing and disgusting in ways I can’t even articulate because I am still so angry at the empty bravado and cowardice that I saw.” She adds, “I want those kids to be held accountable to the damage that they did, damage made possible by their class and race privilege.” And physical fitness; Occupy Oakland’s camp includes children, older people, wheelchair users and a lot of other people less ready to run.

Here’s the problem. @PDAmerica and @Codepinkalert openly trade in crisis. They boast about crisis being where change is possible. Never let a good crisis go to waste, right? But then they have the nerve to act like they are disappointed when their radical crisis mongers turn violent. The potential for violence is what makes the organizers so irresponsible and culpable.

How We Defeated the Police

The euphemism for violence is “diversity of tactics,” perhaps because diversity has been a liberal-progressive buzzword these past decades. But diversity does not mean that anything goes and that democratic decisionmaking doesn’t apply. If you want to be part of a movement, treat the others with respect; don’t spring unwanted surprises on them, particularly surprises that sabotage their own tactics—and chase away the real diversity of the movement. Most of us don’t want to be part of an action that includes those tactics.

They’re worried about a redo of the Weather Underground

Left violence failed miserably in the 1970s: the squalid and futile violence in Germany and Italy, the delusional Symbionese Liberation Army murdering Marcus Foster, Oakland’s first black school superintendent, and later gunning down a bystander mother of four in a bank, the bumbling Weather Underground accidentally blowing three of its members up and turning the rest into fugitives for a decade; all of them giving us a bad name we’ve worked hard to escape.

That’s a little hard to believe though, when Bill Ayers is leading teach-ins at #OccupyChicago:

Recently, President Flotilla ”demanded” Israel (a sovereign nation) notify the US if they plan on launching an attack against Iran. Here’s how that went over:

Alarmed by Mr Netanyahu’s noncommittal response, Mr Obama reportedly ordered the US intelligence services to step up monitoring of Israel to glean clues of its intentions.

Like money, intel assets are not fungible. What’s no longer being watched so we can spy on Israel?

Breitbart TV’s Larry O’Connor takes on the Occupy Denver crowd who showed up to protest BlogCon11. “We are the 53%”

This #occupydenver thug stormed the conservative blogcon conference, trying to shut down the free speech rights of participants.

He tried to interrupt Tony Katz while he was recording a segment for his radio show.

The thug was promptly arrested, sending the #occupy #riotmongers into a frenzy of indignity.
